Overview

This course offering will address inequity through innovative interventions. The impact of intimate partner violence in the workforce will be discussed as well as practical workplace interventions to promote worker safety.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify common presentations of domestic violence in healthcare workers
  • Describe inequities in the prevalence of domestic violence in marginalized communities
  • Identify strategies to promote safety and support for healthcare workers experiencing domestic violence
  • Name one safety net policy that an organization could implement to promote victim safety
